• UAAMSA hosts the largest student-run health fair at Michigan Medical School.
  • APAMSA National Conference
    The 2015 APAMSA National Conference at UNLV provided UAAMSA students with networking opportunities with medical students from around the country. Diverse speakers and workshops provided valuable insight issues effecting Asian-American health.
  • Mentorship
    Students meeting with faculty mentors at the faculty mentorship dinner. UAAMSA offers a multitude of mentorship opportunities, including faculty-to-student mentoring, peer mentoring, and medical student-undergraduate mentoring via the MAPS program.
  • At the 2015 UAAMSA Health Fair, UAAMSA students and faculty screened over 200 patients. Health education workshops were also provided.
  • Recognizing the benefits and importance of a strong community foundation, UAAMSA strives to promote interaction among Asian American students, faculty and staff at the University of Michigan Medical School by hosting a variety of social events throughout the year.
  • Medical Mandarin
    Medical Mandarin is an intensive course that provides students with a comprehensive introduction to Mandarin medical terminology and communication skills, focusing on vocabulary building, grammar, comprehension and pronunciation.
